11/29/2012 UPDATE: BerryStacks Hydroponic U-Pick Farm is now open for the 2012/2013 season! Hours of operation are Thursday through Sunday, from 9 am until 4 pm. The strawberry season is just beginning, so visit us on Thursdays or Fridays for the best pick.

Our hydroponic farm is open to the public. Our strawberries are delicious; our lettuce is delectable, and our herbs are savory. Bring the whole family and experience the freshness! You pick or we pick, no bending, no kneeling. Our friendly farm staff will be on hand to answer questions and instruct patrons on how to harvest so fruits and vegetables stay fresh longer. Our hours of operation are Thursday through Sunday, from 9 am until 4 pm. Email us and ask to be put on our harvest hotline list, to receive notifications of specials. We also do tours for school groups and garden clubs. (Email us to schedule a date.)

Tips for Making the Most of Your U-Pick Experience:

• Come early. Food tastes better when harvested in the morning!
• Bring sun screen, a big floppy hat, sunglasses and something to drink.
• Wear smart shoes. This is a farm, and the ground is uneven. When it rains, it means puddles.
• Bring a jacket just in case. The wind can be strong at times.
• Bring your biggest smile, and we’ll provide the fun!
